The High Court Commercial Division participated in this year’s INSOL International Annual Conference held in London on 26th – 28th June, 2022. The conference with the theme “the global event for the insolvency and restructuring profession” underscored the importance of the law and practice of insolvency against the challenges of a rapidly evolving global economy.

The conference provided collegiality, face-to-face networking and delegates among other topics discussed; the Legal innovation agenda meets insolvency law, Neuroscience of Leadership, Rebooting and embracing change, Deconstructing international restructuring.

INSOL International is a world-wide federation of national associations for accountants and lawyers who specialize in turnaround and insolvency. There are currently 44 member Associations worldwide with over 10,500 professionals participating as members of INSOL International.

In attendance were Judges from High Court Commercial Division, Hon. Justice Jabbar Alide, Hon. Justice Masauko Msungama and Hon. Justice Wezi Mesikano Malonda.

According to the leader of delegation Hon. Justice Alide, the conference apart from the topics discussed, also provided fantastic platforms for global networking, new ideas, innovation and out of the box solutions.
