Justice Malonda is an accomplished Malawian Competition and consumer protection lawyer who has been involved in case investigations, adjudication and law reform initiatives for competition and consumer protection law within Malawi and the African region. With over 18 years’ experience at the bar and working as a legal and development practitioner. Her skills and experience are a blend of both economics and law. She has 4 years’ experience with the Ministry of Justice and 6 years’ experience with the Office of the Ombudsman. She also has experience as a resource person at various international forums on, competition economic policy and law and consumer protection law. She is a one of the prominent African Women Competition legal practitioners in the African region and has a Bachelor’s degree in Law obtained from the University of Malawi and a LLM Degree in Competition Law from Loyola University (USA) and a diploma in European Union C
